our Origins

Our influences are bands like The Field, The Cure, New Order, Kraftwerk. Listen free to our electronica on Soundcloud. We were best friends at school, based in the South of England and played music together, mostly Indie guitar riffs. In 2015 we decided to reignite our passion for music. Istanbul Hippodrome was born! We knew our love of electronic music would be the catalyst for our sound, and leaving the Indie guitar riffs behind we immersed ourselves into the world of electronica, playing Synths, guitars, sequences in Ableton, drum machines and percussion.
As Istanbul Hippodrome we have only started to share our sounds this year, 2019.
